Ep. 167: Tribute to Willie Mays

This week on Long Gone:

On this week’s special episode of Long Gone, the boys pay homage to baseball’s greatest player, who passed away on June 18th of 2024 at the age of 93: Willie Mays. In his illustrious 23-year career, the Say Hey Kid amassed 3,293 hits, 660 home runs, 2,068 runs, 1,909 RBIs and had a lifetime .301/.384/.557. He was twice a MVP winner, won Rookie of the Year in 1951, was a 12x Gold Glove winner and was a 24x All Star. Mays was everything and more to the sport and he did it with a smile. Afterwards, the boys round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
