Amazing voice actor John DiMaggio joins the show this week. He has over 100 voice credits, include 42 voices in DC Comics’ properties. He reprised his Joker role from Batman-Under the Red Hood for the new Blu Ray release Batman-Death in the Family. It becomes evident early in the podcast that DiMaggio is also from New Jersey (as is Seth).
In addition to the Joker, DiMaggio is best known for playing Aquaman on Batman-The Brave and the Bold, Bender on Futurama, Dr. Drakken on Kim Possible, Jake the Dog on Adventure Time, and countless others.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment unveils its first-ever interactive film presentation with Batman- Death in the Family https://amzn.to/2FXi3WK. As the anchor of an anthology of 2019-2020 animated shorts, “Batman: Death in the Family” is based on the 1988 landmark DC event where fans voted by telephone to determine the story’s ending, and is organically grown out of the 2010 DC Universe Movie, “Batman: Under the Red Hood.” In this new version, the animated short is an interactive storytelling presentation with numerous “branches,” allowing the viewer multiple options from which to choose and alter the path of the core characters (Batman, Robin, Joker, Red Hood, and more).
The episode also features a lively discussion of the new HBO Max documentary Class Action Park, as they both went to the infamous amusement park.
