Iconic WNBA legend Angel McCoughtry joined the show to discuss her career and much more. The WNBA bubble, the state of sports in the COVID-19 pandemic, her role as an activist, and how police brutality has become bigger with awful incidents being filmed and shown in the media and social media. The long-time member of the Atlanta Dream just completed her first season with the Las Vegas Aces. She detailed life in the WNBA and also her being a role model in basketball and Atlanta.
She also discussed the two Senate run-off elections in her home state of Georgia, and how she and her WNBA partners have campaigned against Dream owner Kelli Loeffler’s bid for election to the US Senate.
