Mike Gastineau was a host at Seattle’s Sportsradio KJR from 1991-2012. During his time in Seattle, he witnessed many iconic Seattle sports moments, including the 1995 Seattle Mariners playoff run, the 90’s Seattle SuperSonics NBA Finals run in 1996, and much more. He also witnessed the Sonics departure for Oklahoma City and the almost franchise moves of both the Seahawks and the Mariners.
During this episode, Gastineau discusses his run with sports radio and how that has changed since he left. He discussed doing shows with his partner Dave Grosby, and how podcasts and social media have affected the sports radio world.
