Ep. 110: College Sports Betting Scandal, RIP Vida, Overreactions

This week on Long Gone:

On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys talk about the college sports betting scandal in Alabama, Ohio, and Iowa that led to one coach’s firing and a whole list of potential terminations down the road in the coming weeks. The boys also talk about the cons of NIL deals and mixing sports betting in the collegiate and pro worlds. Afterward, they highlight the recently passed great Vida Blue’s career. This brings an interesting debate over whether he should be inducted into the Hall of Fame or not. We are well into the season now and the overreactions are coming in waves. The boys pump the brakes and each pick their top three. They round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
