Long Gone

Ep. 209: Early ROY Candidates, Kurtz Time, Hypothetical Trades

This week on Long Gone:

On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys discuss early Rookie of the Year candidates. This class is absolutely stacked, and the boys pick early favorites and predict whose career will be the best when it’s all said and done. This leads into a larger conversation about A’s rookie Nick Kurtz, who was just drafted last year and is already up in the bigs to help out a crazy rebuild that could see the A’s being something soon, as well as highly drafted players being pro-ready sooner than prospects of the past. It might be too soon to talk trades, but that doesn’t stop the boys from taking a stab at who is on early trade blocks and what those trades would look like. Afterwards, the boys round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
