Long Gone

Ep. 227: Big Dumper’s ’25, OBP>BA, All-Rookie/MLB Teams

This week on Long Gone:

On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys give props to Cal “Big Dumper” Raleigh’s recording-breaking season. Could he be the first catcher since Joe Mauer to win MVP? Batting averages are down all over the league this season, but it appears the media is now shifting their opinions on who is good by the stat OBP (On Base Percentage), rather than the reliable batting average. Is baseball backwards? The boys dive in. As we near the end of the season, it’s now time for the boys to announce their All-Rookie and All-MLB teams. Afterwards, they round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
