On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys break down Team USA’s disappointing finish in the World Baseball Classic, questioning whether the roster—and overall approach—lacked the urgency and hunger shown by a Venezuelan team that ultimately took home the title They debate what changes USA needs to make moving forward, from roster construction to leadership.

The boys then wrap up their annual Then & Now series by tackling their final position—designated hitter—as each reveals their top five DHs of the 1990s and compares them to their top five in today’s game.

Afterwards, they round out the show with Collection Corner.
