Long Gone

Ep. 263: Finding Baseball’s Biggest Treasure!

This week on Long Gone:

On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys break down why the American League appears weaker than the National League this season and discuss the growing contrast between the two leagues. They also take a closer look at several major free agent signings that haven’t paid off thus far and what could still change moving forward.

The boys then play a game where they each select five teammate duos making the biggest impact this season–highlighting the combinations’ driving success around the league.

Later, award-winning author and filmmaker Brian Biegel joins the show to discuss his book and film centered around one of baseball’s greatest treasures—Bobby Thomson’s iconic 1951 “Shot Heard ’Round the World” baseball and the remarkable story behind its discovery.

The boys round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
