After, they discuss Manny Machado’s announcement of choosing to opt out of his contract after 2023 season. This leads to a much larger conversation about the financial future of the league, including TV deals falling through. What will the MLB market look like for the next 10 years? The Then & Now series continues on. This week the boys reveal their top-five best third basemen of the ’80s and the best at the hot corner right now. They round out the show with Collection Corner, and then Steve tries to get another win in this week’s trivia question.
