From there, we discuss Albert Pujols’ return to the Cardinals after a decade, Craig Kimbrel being traded for AJ Pollock, Sean Manea’s move to San Diego, extensions for Katel Marte, Merrill Kelly, Emmanuel Clase, and Harrison Bader, Justin Upton’s release, extensions for Mike Matheny and Charlie Montoyo, and early injuries to Jacob Degrom, Max Scherzer, and Lance Lynn.
