From there, we discuss Edwin Diaz’s $102 million, record-setting extension for a relief pitcher with the Mets, the White Sox hiring Royals bench coach Pedro Grifol as their new manager, Justin Turner winning the Roberto Clemente Award, the BBWAA award finalists, this year’s Gold Glove and Player’s Choice Award winners, and the Contemporary Era ballot for the Baseball Hall of Fame.
