On this week’s episode, we recap the 2023 World Series, where the Texas Rangers defeated the Diamondbacks 4-1 to clinch the first championship in the franchise’s history, which dates back to 1961. We discuss the late-game heroics of the Rangers in Game 1, the Diamondbacks sixteen-hit outburst in Game 2, Jon Gray’s unlikely turn in the spotlight in Game 3, Marcus Semien’s bat clicking in Game 4, and finally, Nathan Eovaldi going to to toe with Zac Gallen in Game 5 to wrap up the series. We then discuss Corey Seager and Bruce Bochy’s legacy, and take an early look at the World Series favorites for the 2024 season.
