From there, we discuss the results of the 2024 MLB Player Poll conducted by The Athletic, Pat Hoberg becoming the first umpire to be suspended for violating the league’s gambling policy, and the Astros cutting bate and releasing Jose Abreu with over $30+ million left on his contract.
