On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys take a moment to talk about the future of the game and the future of the league. With technology influencing the game by means of robo-umps, pitch cams, and the pitch clock, the game is evolving and the boys give their takes on where they see the game and if it’ll be the same game we remember years from now. MLBPA President Tony Clark came out last week to say he expects there will be a lockout following the 2026 season regarding the CBA. The contracts are getting bigger and bigger and most owners aren’t catching up. The next CBA negotiations could change the league forever, but how? The boys give their rants and raves. Afterward, they truck on with the Then & Now series. This week they pick the top-five left fielders of the 1970s and the top-five left fielders right now. They round out the show with Collection Corner.
****After the show stay for the audio version of Mikey’s documentary trailer HOBBY HUSTLE, available now on Amazon Prime and Apple+ (Apple TV).****
