A Little Bit of Everything Going On This Off Season Jaela Wesley
The NBA Trade Deadline is in full swing. Stacey, Matt, and Noah react to the big trade of James Harden going to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Darius Garland. Matt and Noah are skeptical of how Harden will fit in the Cavaliers’ plans giving his age and playoff history. Stacey believes the move will work if Harden accepts a point guard role. All three love this trade for Garland. Next, the trio explores the opportunity the Utah Jazz have to improve now that Jaren Jackson Jr is on the team. All three believe the Jazz can build with their current roster if Jackson fully commits to the team and expects Grizzlies guard Ja Morant to be gone soon. For the last topic, Stacey brings up an article in the Detroit Free Press that calls for the Detroit Pistons to trade for Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. Matt and Noah say this is a must-have, while Stacey has reservations because of the Pistons success during the 2025-26 season.
