On this week’s episode of the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich talk about the lack of a big news story featuring Robert Sarver, recap the team’s first three games, and preview this week’s games against the Kings and the Cavaliers.
We all saw the report that an article about Suns owner Robert Sarver involving racism, sexism, and sexual harrassment would be released soon, but as of now, no news has come out. The guys give their quick thoughts on the situation and what they expect to happen.
Then the guys break down the first three games of the season. The opener against the Nuggets was a tough one, and Devin Booker didn’t look like he was quite in basketball shape yet. The Suns absolutely handled the Lakers in Game 2 of the season, where the team looked much more settled in than the opener. Don’t be fooled by the score, the game was not nearly as close as the final score looks. The Suns were then totally outplayed by the Portland Trail Blazers to end out the week. Lets hope the Suns get back on track for next week’s games.
The Suns only have two games this week, heading to Sacramento to play the Kings and then back home to play the Cavaliers. Both teams look better than they did last season, so these games will not be easy ones for our Suns.
Thanks for tuning in, and we’ll see you again next week.
