This week on Squeamish:

Welcome to Squeamish, the podcast that awakens your social sensibilities. Each episode, I have stimulating and organic round table conversations with guests about social commentary issues. Whether it’s pop culture in media or social justice, I have got you covered.

Today, we will be talking about sex and gaining some insight on the topic of sex education from a licensed sex therapist. We will discuss a wide variety of topics ranging from clear communication surrounding consent and comfort, sexuality, safe sex, fetishes, sex toys, orgasms, STDs, sex education in schools, key resources surrounding sex, and much more. Our guest speaker Carli Blau, is a licensed sex and relationship therapist specializing in women’s health and infertility. Carli received a Master of Social Work from Columbia University, a Master of Sex Education from Widener University, and is finishing her doctorate in Clinical Sex Therapy from Widener University, studying sexual infertility stress and sexual esteem. Carli is certified in Maternal Mental Health. She works in private practice working with individuals and couples on life, career, relationship and sex-related issues. Here are important resources not mentioned during the interview: @embracesexualwellness @talk.tabu. I am your host Glory Egwuonwu Amadi, let’s dive in!
