Suns Finish with League’s Best Record, Prepare for Playoffs

This week on Sunny in PHX:

On this week’s episode of the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich wrap up the last week of the NBA regular season before they predict the play-ins and the Suns’ round 1 playoff matchup.

Frank Kaminsky was waived by the Suns last week in order to allow Ish Wainwright to be eligible to play in the playoffs. Kaminsky’s knee injury still wasn’t healed up, so this was a necessary move to fill the roster with active bodies for the postseason. Frank will be missed! After that the guys talk about the franchise record setting season for the Suns, Chris Paul leading the league in assists per game, and more.

The Suns will have to wait until Friday night to find out who their opponent will be in Round 1. Both the guys would LOVE for a Suns vs Spurs matchup, but that seems pretty unlikely. The guys predict and opening round series against the Timberwolves, but then split their decision on who they may face in Round 2.
