On this week’s episode of the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich yet again, discuss how the Suns have been winning games despite being bit hard by the injury bug. After that they break down last week’s games and preview this week’s games.
Chris Paul remains out for the Suns, but there have been reports that he could rejoin the lineup as soon as Wednesday. This is quite a bit ahead of schedule for his estimated return – listen in and see if the guys think if CP3 should come back ASAP or take his time.
Cameron Johnson remains out of the lineup with a quad bruise, and was joined on the injury report by Jae Crowder with a groin injury for two games. Crowder made it back into the lineup, but left the game against the Kings after coming down on a defender’s foot on a three point attempt. Cameron Payne also missed that game due to a non-Covid illness, so hopefully he will be back in service this week.
The Suns scored a ton of points this week while going 4-0. The Suns showed great determination in the game against the Kings – where they were without their top two point guards and Cameron Johnsnon. Despite Booker and Ayton fouling out early in OT, the Suns bench came together to pull out a win.
The Suns have a back-to-back against the Wolves and Nuggets on the road this week beforen a matchup against the 76ers at home on Sunday.
Thanks for tuning in, and Go Suns!
