This episode is the first since episode 238 to feature an in-person interview. Dario Franchitti was in Brooklyn, NY to call the 2021 New York #EPrix for Season 7 of Formula E. Frequent episodes of this podcast have been about this sport.
Franchitti is a four-time IndyCar Series champion (2007, 2009, 2010, 2011), a three-time winner of the Indianapolis 500 (2007, 2010, 2012). After his retirement, he joined the broadcast team for Formula E alongside play-by-play man Jack Nicholls, who came on this podcast exactly 100 episodes ago (episode 208).
This week also saw former Sports with Friends guest Sir Richard Branson actually reach space. The beginning of this episode revisits a portion of his previous appearance (Episode 138) where he not only discusses his adoration of Formula-E but also his interest in space travel.
