The Marvels is the latest entry to the wide-ranging Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is the 33rd overall film. It is a sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel. It stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani. and Samuel L. Jackson, and is part of Phase Five of the MCU. This movie draws from storylines first introduced in the Disney+ series Wandavision and Ms. Marvel. It was also the lowest box office opening of any Marvel film in terms of revenue.
