Ayton Shines While Suns Struggle

This week on Sunny in PHX:

On this week’s episode of the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich start things off by asking the question, “Was the week off due to postponed games good or bad for the Suns?”. The hot start to the season seemed to lose a little steam due to this, and the guys discuss why this happened.

After that, the guys quickly recap the week’s four games against the Grizzlies, Rockets, and the back to back overtime games against the Mavericks, where the Suns finished 1-3. Charlie and Mitch talk about the main takeaways from these four games.

Then the topic turns to Deandre Ayton and his very impressive play over the course of a week. Ayton is averaging about 22 points per game, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks per game over this stretch, and the question “Is this enough out of a #1 pick?”.

The guys wrap up the show by talking about this week’s upcoming games against the Thunder, Warriors, and Mavericks. Thanks for tuning in!
