To start the episode, Stacey recaps the recent news stemming from the Dallas Mavericks including firing now-former general manager Nico Harrison. Stacey ask Noah and Matt if the Mavericks have a chance to recover from trading Luka Doncic. Noah and Matt does not believe they can while Stacey plays devil’s advocate for the trade. In the next segment, Stacey, Noah, and Matt rank Detroit Pistons’ rising superstar Cade Cunningham. Noah has him in the top twenty. Matt says he’s top ten. Stacey gives names of other stars and compare them to Cunningham. In the last segment, the trio debate if Indiana Quarterback Fernando Mendoza is truly the frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy. Matt gives another name of someone who has a better case. Spoiler alert: it is another Quarterback.
