On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys are happy to announce that pitchers and catchers have reported for Spring Training. That means the season isn’t far away! Cody Bellinger, Blake Snell and Matt Chapman, among other top free agents, have yet to be signed. Are teams just not trusting enough? The boys break down what could be some prove-it deals on the horizon. This past week former GM of the Mets Billy Eppler was suspended by the league for manipulating the injured list during his time in the front office. This is much more of a serious problem than it appears on the outside. Afterwards, the boys continue their Then & Now series by revealing their top-five second basemen of the 1950s and the top-five second basemen right now. They then round out the show with Collection Corner.
