Long Gone

Ep.164: Acuna Out, Ump Out, Negro League Stats, Saluting Heroes

This week on Long Gone:

On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys discuss the effect Ronald Acuna’s injury will have on the Braves. Afterward, they praise the MLB’s decision to force polarizing ump Angel Hernandez into retirement. Out of nowhere the league also announced they will merge MLB and Negro League stats. There are now new all-time leaders in various categories. Is this good for bad for baseball? In homage to Memorial Day, the boys select their top-3 hero veterans to salute that should be remembered for more than their MLB service. They then round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
