Long Gone

Ep.175: Forgotten Series – John Donaldson

This week on Long Gone:

On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys talk Mookie Betts’ return as well as other stars who went down earlier this season. The boys make some early predictions of end-of-season awards and then afterward, they talk about a one-time star for their Forgotten Series, who was one of the first stars of the Negro Leagues: John Donaldson. Who else do you know in history who has pitched 14 no-hitters? Donaldson’s legend has outlived him and while it’s a shame he never got to play in Major League Baseball, his stats are still included in today’s game. The boys round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
