Ep.196: Uecker Passes, Ichiro Makes History, Then & Now (C)

This week on Long Gone:

On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys first start out by paying homage to a broadcasting legend. Bob Uecker passed away last week. He was one of the few broadcasting personalities who was successful on and off the field. Tuesday, Cooperstown made their Hall of Fame announcement: Ichiro, CC Sabathia, and Billy Wagner are in! Let’s be honest, Ichiro is the real headliner here, and with that he makes history. The boys dive in. Another Japanese star made news, Roki Sasaki made his decision, and surprise, surprise he chose to join the Dodgers. Like Thanos, the Dodgers now have their last Infinity Stone to take over the world. Can they be stopped? Afterward, the boys continue on with their Then & Now series, each selecting their top five catchers of the 1970s and Now. They round out the show with Collection Corner.
