Ep. 94: Cruz’s Place in History, Robo Umps, Q’s That Need A’s

This week on Long Gone:

In this week’s episode, the boys discuss Nelson Cruz’s ring-chasing quest. They debate where his place in baseball history. Triple-A is officially adopting robo-umps for the upcoming season. How does this affect the game as a whole, especially in the bigs? The Padres did it again, they topped all other teams looking to sign international players by scoring catching phenom Ethan Salas. Who else had good signing days? The boys dive in. Afterward, they discuss Adam Duvall signing with the Red Sox– making S-Man the official winner of Free Agent predictions, as well as Michael’s GM for a Day prediction of the Marlins potentially peddling starting pitcher Pablo Lopez. There are a ton of questions we need answered before Opening Day. The boys run down the Q&A’s of 2023’s most curious topics. They round out the show with Collection Corner.
