Hallowed Ground

Episode 8 | Featuring Paula Cole

This week on The Hallowed Ground:

A true alternative music feminist icon, Paula Cole’s sophomore effort “This Fire” scorched the charts in 1997 behind the hits “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” and “I Don’t Want to Wait.” The latter endearing her to millions of love-lorn teens as the theme song to The WB teen drama series and streaming favorite Dawson’s Creek.

We talk to the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter on this episode of The Hallowed Ground. We dive into her album “American Quilt,” talk about her melting pot of influences, look back on Lilith Fair, and reflect on her storied career and lessons learned.
