On this week’s episode, we begin by discussing the first big free-agent move of the offseason, Charlie Morton’s one-year, $15 million contract to return to the the team that drafted him, the Atlanta Braves. From there, we discuss the implications of Robinson Cano’s 162-game suspension due to his second failed PED test, Theo Epstein ending his Hall of Fame run as President of Baseball Operations for the Cubs and naming Jed Hoyer as his successor, Ron Fowler’s removal as Chairman of the Padres, Sandy Alderson taking the baseball operations reigns for the Mets, Andrew Friedman’s Executive of the Year win, and Cody Bellinger’s shoulder surgery.
