Suns End Season on Embarrassing Note

On this week’s episode of the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich talk about what all went wrong against the Dallas Mavericks, talk Deandre Ayton, and preview the offseason.

The Suns embarrassed us all in Game 7 against the Dallas Mavericks, and that is what the guys spend the majority of the show discussing. What went wrong? Was it the coaching? The players? The guys discuss numerous different angles, trying to explain away the pain.

After that, the mood doesn’t get any better when the guys discuss the upcoming free agency of Deandre Ayton. Reports are out that Ayton’s camp are disappointed they didn’t get a max deal, Monty Williams had issues with Ayton this season, and on top of that, there are trade proposals as far as the eye can see. What do you think happens with Ayton this offseason?

Then the guys quickly discuss the upcoming offseason. With no draft picks, the NBA Draft or Summer League don’t look to be too entertaining for us fans over the summer, unless the Suns make a move into the draft to acquire some young talent.
