Longtime executive producer Marc Guggenheim joined the podcast this week. Guggenheim helped created the Arrowverse as we know it. He has been the executive producer for Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. He has worked with Greg Berlanti for decades. He is one of the architects of the CW’s many different crossovers, including Elseworlds and Crisis on Infinite Earths.
In this episode, he discusses the conception of the Arrow TV show, and how it ties into his writing role on the 2011 Green Lantern film starring Ryan Reynolds. He talked about the birth of the Arrowverse and then went into strong detail on the Crisis on Infinite Earths. He was pressed but gave up little information on his current project, the Green Lantern Corps TV series on HBO Max.
