Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis, and Kristopher Carter, collectively known as Dynamic Music Partners, have created music for a variety of different genres, including TV series, independent films, video games, and live performance events. They have all won individual awards, but collectively, they have earned 28 Emmy Award nominations and 6 Annie Award nominations as composers for Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Batman: The Brave And The Bold, Justice League, Teen Titans, Batman Beyond, The Zeta Project, and The New Batman Superman Adventures.
Kristopher Carter has been on this show before. Back in 2015, Episode 20, Carter came on the podcast to discuss his career. He teased that he would return with Michael and Lolita, and he made good on that promise in this episode.
Topics include: how they got their start, the process of scoring animation. They also discuss great moments in the DC animated universe, including working on the Batman and Superman animated series in the 1990s. They also discuss how the late composer Shirley Walker hired them and introduced them into the superhero world.
