This episode is dedicated to the life and career of the great director Richard Donner. Donner is considered by many to be the architect of the superhero film genre when he directed 1978’s Superman: The Movie. Not only is Superman a classic film, but the seriousness with which Donner both the character and the source material is considered the standard for future superhero films.
