Chris Rose has been on national television for decades. He is now with NFL Network and has been since 2012. He has now joined Jomboy Media hosting podcasts for the company. They include The Chris Rose Rotation https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-chris-rose-rotation-mlb-players-podcast/id1555532184, which with a rotating cast of current major-league players co-hosting — Miguel Rojas, Tyler Glasnow, Steven Brault, Archie Bradley, Lucas Giolito and Trevor May. He also hosts a daily video show with former big leaguer Trevor Plouffe, while continuing his gig with the Discovery show “BattleBots.”
In 2020, Rose concluded his 10-year run at MLB Network. In this podcast, he explains how joining Jomboy allowed him to stay involved in baseball. In August 2022, Rose started hosting a national football podcast on Jomboy Media called “The Chris Rose Football Show” with Jets Tight End CJ Uzomah.
During the course of this episode, Rose reflects on his career going back to hosting the “Best Damn Sports Show Period,” and his run at FOX Sports. He discusses how baseball in 2022 is filled with interesting characters but the sport has major marketing trouble and the media doesn’t cover the stuff fans would enjoy. He also discussed baseball’s declining popularity while the NFL’s popularity has soared.
