On this week’s episode, we begin by looking at the playoff picture across baseball heading into the final week of the MLB season. From there, we discuss Justin Verlander and Ken Giles’ Tommy John Surgeries, which will keep them out until the 2022 season, Tigers manager Ron Gardnehire calling it a career for health reasons, Albert Pujols moving into the top-five of the all-time home run list, the Yankees setting multiple home run records against the Blue Jays, and the idea of an expanded playoff system remaining in baseball into the 2021 season.
