This week on Hall of Justice:

The CW show based on the comic book Black Lightning completed its 4-year run in May 2021. This week, the creator of the title character, Tony Isabella, joined the show.

Isabella created Black Lightning in the ’70s. In the episode, he discussed his extraordinary run in comics. He’s written Black Lightning in the ’70s, ’90s, and in 2017.

Isabella also created Black Goliath, who is the superhero name for Bill Foster, the character portrayed by Laurence Fishburne in the 2018 film Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Isabella also worked extensively on Luke Cage.

In this episode, there is a lot of focus on the show Black Lightning. Also, they discuss the evolution of race in comics and pop culture. Isabella also signed a unique deal with DC, one of the few contracts where the creator receives payment when the character appears in media.
