This week on Sports With Friends:

Longtime on-field reporter/host Shannon Drayer joins the podcast. Shannon is one of the few females in baseball history to travel with a big league team. She hosts the pre & post-game show for the Mariners on 710 ESPN Seattle. That’s only part of her story.

Shannon entered the radio industry after winning a contest at KJR back in 1998. She fought her way from a part-time update position to cover the local teams. Turns out Seth Everett had a hand in that ascension. Ultimately, she caught the eye of Mariner’s management. She’s been on the flagship radio broadcast since 2003.
