This week, Peter Burns came on the show. Peter and Seth go back to the days of FOX Sports Radio in 2008. Peter is now working for the SEC Network as a studio host.
Burns joined that network in August 2014, regularly hosting the news and information show, SEC Now. Beginning in the fall of 2018, Burns added host of SEC This Morning to his repertoire, a simulcast of his hit radio show by the same name. The SEC Network simulcast airs every Monday morning in the fall.
In this episode, the guys talk about their history together. They also have an honest conversation about the SEC Network’s audience and how to walk the line and not favor a specific SEC team over another. They also discuss the last year as the SEC played through the pandemic. Peter explains how divided the country is, and how sports cannot escape it.
