Longtime sports executive Scott O’Neil is an inspirational speaker. The CEO of the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils, Dignitas E-Sports team, and more is the author of a new book entitled, “Be Where Your Feet Are.” O’Neil talked about the unique challenges that lead to his idea of writing this book, and the message he hopes to get across.
The episode also featured an in-depth conversation on the Sixers’ place in the Philadelphia sports landscape. He also discussed the unique fan base for the New Jersey Devils, and where he sees both franchises going. (Note, this episode was recording during the Sixer’s Spring 2021 NBA Playoff run)
Previously, O’Neil was the President of Madison Square Garden. During this episode, he discussed how his career began. He also talked about how the teams can use technology to continue to engage with younger fans of both franchises.
