This week on Sports With Friends:

André Lotterer heads into his third season with TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team racing alongside compatriot Pascal Wehrlein as they battle for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. He joined the podcast as he prepared for the April 9-10, 2022 F-E races in Rome, Italy.

Lotterer joined Formula-E in 2018 with DS Techeetah alongside Jean-Eric Vergne. Together they won the Teams’ Championship that year, and Lotterer finished 8th. At the time of this recording, he stands 4th in the individual standings after finishing 2nd in the most recent race in Mexico City.

In this episode, Lotterer talks about his new team at Porsche, the environmental impact of Formula-E, and the growth of the sport since he joined. He spoke about his personal goals as well going in-depth on the reliance on the team while out there on the track. He also discussed Fan Boost where fans can vote for their favorite driver, and how that extra boost of energy can impact a race.
