The iconic Batman: The Animated Series is considered the gold standard in superhero storytelling. Many consider that iteration of The Dark Knight to be the best version among comics and movies. Kevin Altieri was a storyboard artist and director on numerous episodes of the classic show.
Altieri also worked on the classic Batman: Mask of the Phantasm animated movie. His career also includes The Spectacular Spider-Man, Transformers: Rescue Bots, Stripperella, GI Joe: Renegades, and more.
In this episode, Altieri takes a deep dive into what made the animated series so incredible, and how it has stood the test of time. He also handpicks some favorite episodes and detailed his favorite moments from Phantasm.
