WARNING: Do not listen to this episode unless you have seen the 2024 Marvel release “Agatha All Along” or do not mind hearing key plot points.
Agatha All Along is a direct follow-up to the 2020 Marvel release “Wandavision.” It stars Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, the primary villain in Wandavision. It takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but is released under the banner Marvel Television.
Longtime writer and podcaster Jenna Anderson makes her debut on the podcast by reviewing this series. Anderson is taking part in a new podcast venture entitled Phase Hero, in which she joins three friends to bring their unique perspectives and passion for superhero culture to weekly discussions.
In this episode, Jenna explains what worked in Agatha All Along, and what the impact of its storyline is in the bigger MCU. She discusses the incredible casting and unique twists that tie into the bigger Marvel picture and many callbacks to Wandavision.
