WARNING: Do not listen to this episode unless you have seen the Star Wars series “Visions” or do not mind hearing key plot points.
Star Wars: Visions is an anime anthology series that airs on Disney+. Volume one was released in September 2021—volume two in May 2023. Volume three was released in October 2025. Each episode is an independent story, although three episodes of volume three are sequels to previous episodes. The creators at each studio are given free rein to re-envision Star Wars ideas as they see fit, with guidance from Lucasfilm.
Star Wars Insider J.C. Reifenberg returns to the show to review Star Wars: Visions. They discuss how each story can fit into the vast timeline of Star Wars. They also talk about the anime influence and gorgeous animation from different creators.
J.C. is also the owner of the Scum and Villainy Cantina in Hollywood, California. The Cantina is evolving into the Scum and Villainy Cantina Rendezvous. Details are at the beginning of this podcast.
