This week on Techstream:

Apple AirTags were designed to make our lives easier. Misplace your keys or wallet? Slap an AirTag on it and you’ll always know exactly where it is! Technology is great, right?

Until it’s used for malicious purposes. Since AirTags launched, multiple women have come forward and shared stories about how they’ve been tracked or stalked using the technology.

While Apple has built-in anti-stalking features in the devices, they’re not incredibly intuitive to enable. We walk you through how the “Find My” ecosystem works as well as how to navigate Apple’s labyrinthine settings to protect yourself.

We also talk about how cookies work (read: follow you around the internet) and whether or not we should be worried about devices like Alexa. Also, we share the single most important thing we’ll ever say on the show. Seriously. You won’t want to miss this one.
