On this week’s episode of the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich talk about Cameron Johnson’s torn meniscus surgery and recovery time – and who will need to step up in the meantime. After that, they break down last week’s games and preview this week’s three games.
Cameron Johnson went down with a torn meniscus 5 minutes into the first matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers last week. The guys talk about how long Johnson might be out, and who will have to step up to replace them. Then they touch on who they could potentially bring in as a free agent to fill the void, and then once again discuss a Jae Crowder trade.
The guys then break down last week’s three games against the Timberwolves and Trail Blazers x2. The Suns ended the week 2-1, and it totally should have been 3-0 but sometimes the refs let 5-step travels happen. You’re welcome, Jerami Grant.
This week the Suns head out on the road after getting nice and cozy here at home to start the season. The guys take on the 76ers, then the Timberwolves again, before heading down south to take on the Magic and the Heat.
Thanks for tuning in, and Go Suns!
