This week on Long Gone:

On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys celebrate their milestone 250th episode by reflecting on an emotional and historic week in Detroit sports. They honor the passing of Tigers legend Mickey Lolich and hometown Negro League greats Clinton “Tiny” Forge and Ron Teasley, before reacting to the powerful return of Justin Verlander to Detroit to finish his career where it all began.

The boys then continue their Then & Now series, each selecting their top five third basemen of the 1990s and comparing them to their top five at the position today.

Later, they welcome a very special guest, Bob Kendrick, president of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, for a wide-ranging conversation about the history and future of the museum, untold stories of Negro League stars, his experience appearing in MLB The Show, and why preserving this history matters now more than ever.

They round out the landmark episode with Collection Corner.
