On this week’s episode of Long Gone, the boys discuss what everyone is talking about in baseball this week: the Ohtani v.s. Judge matchup. Did people forget that Trout still plays for the Angels and that Ohtani isn’t even pitching in this series? The boys discuss the matchup and how off-target the marketing is for this week’s games. Following that they talk about a tale of two players: one who got his shot and is making the most of it, and the other who got spanked and sat. Mets prospect Brett Baty makes his debut and looks promising, while Tigers vet Javier Baez gave up on his team and got benched by manager AJ Hinch to send a message to the rest of the team. Clayton Kershaw got his 200th win. Where does he stand today and among the best in the past 20 years? Afterward, the boys bring back ‘Legit or Bullshit’ by sifting through and making sense out of these early season overreactions. They round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
