Episode 359: The Tigers Roar Chase Madorsky
Michael Dault December 7, 2023
On this episode of Long Gone, the boys discuss a couple of trades that went down at the Winter Meetings. Could this give hints at where Juan Soto will go, or will he sign with the Yankees? Shohei Ohtani talks have been heating up. He’s met with the Dodgers, Cubs, and Blue Jays and others, with some saying his decision could come sooner than expected. Some insiders have pointed out Ohtani and his camp’s handling of his decision has been a missed opportunity and anything but good for the game. The boys dive in. More manager news but this time in Detroit. The Tigers extend AJ Hinch and then congratulate former manager Jim Leyland as he’s been officially inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the 2024 class. Afterward, the boys play GM for a Day. They each pick a good team and mold them for the better for the upcoming season. They then round out the show with Collection Corner.
